Montego Bayby!
If it was a day all of us really looked forward to, it was this specific day! We woke up around 7:30 am and could not wait to take the bus to Montego Bay, and some days later to Dunn’s River Falls. The first thing Anette shouted when she saw the citysign was "Montego Bayby!". Clearly she was very exited for this part of the trip. Although it is a 3h and 15 mins ride from Kingston to Montego Bay at the coast, we had fun and took some naps on the bus. Since we drove through the country, we got to see a lot.
After some days in Montego Bay, we went to Dunn’s River Falls, and it is a almost 2 hour ride from Montego Bay. The ride went by real quick, and we were really looking forward to experiencing the beach (Dunn’s River beach) featured in James Bond film “Dr. No”! (Dunn’s River Falls, 2011). We, as Ian Flemming, have fallen in love with Jamaica after this trip, even though we once got kicked out of a restaurant ;-) which he probably did not ha ha . (Dunn’s River Falls, 2011) The falls mesmerized us and we could not believe our own eyes, the falls were the most beautiful thing we have ever seen (not to talk about men wearing only shorts)!
The correct outfit for this attraction was our newest bikinis, and the day was spent chatting in the pools of the falls! We enjoyed ourselves and got a nice tan. We actually got enough of the heat, for a fact it was 31 degrees celsius this day, and we decided to take a break and eat our lunch in the nice picnic area. We really needed this break before we went on the two hour long busride to go back to Kingston. It is time to go home again ... :-(
